South Coast Audio Revolution (SCAR) was formed in 2014 by a group of people with experience in all areas of the music industry, from DJ's, band members, booking agents, promoters and venue owners, whose sole aim is to put the south coast firmly onto the music scene map.

 

Starting in four key venues, the Engine Room (Soutampton), Drift Bar (Southsea), The Shepherds Crouk (Portsmouth) and the Lanyard (Portsmouth), with ambitions to ecxpand into future venues, we aim to bring music and talent of allgenres to the South Coast.

The Engine Room is located on an industrial park in Southampton city centre opposite the road entrance to IKEA. With a capacity of up to 1000 people, this venue caters for touring acts, roller discos, private functions, large dj sets and the occasional all nighter.

The Drift Bar is Southseas only late night club venue, located on Palmerston Road in the heart of Southsea, this two floor venue has a total capacity of 300. Open till 3.30am, with a great beer garden, this place caters for all tastes.

The Shepherds Crook is in the Milton area of Portsmouth, located on the junction of Goldsmith Avenue and Winter Road, this friendly locals pub caters for up to 200 people. With large front and back gardens, this intimate venue hosts local and touring acts thtoughout the year.

The Lanyard is a large converted chhurch in the North End area of Portsmouth, it has huge vaulted ceilings, many original features and galleried balcony as well. Oozing with character this amazing venue holds up to 800 people and makes an amazing auditorium for bands and DJ's alike.
